Weebly Blog
The Weebly Blog artifact was completed so I can frequently evaluate and reflect on my professional practices and learning experiences to improve and strengthen my ability to effectively model and facilitate technology-enhanced learning opportunities. Additionally, I completed the artifact to reflect on the technology-enhanced learning experiences my students participated in and how I can improve the learning opportunities to continue to enhance teaching and learning opportunities. A blog artifact is an excellent tool for me to evaluate and reflect in my own words, my learning experiences for readers to understand and become knowledgeable of my ability to effectively model and facilitate technology-enhanced learning experiences. The Weebly blog artifact was also completed to provide other educators with reflections on various tasks that were completed that they can ponder upon and learn from to help improve their professional development.
Through the development of the Weebly blog artifact, I had the opportunity to reflect on my learning and experiences I gained during the ITEC program at KSU. I have learned how to reflect on my learning experiences that have evolved my dispositions. In addition to reflections, I also created a video reflection as well to discuss and exhibit my learning effectively. Furthermore, the Weebly blog artifact was used as a self-evaluation tool to reflect on my pedagogy and dispositions. Also, the blog was an instrument to evaluate artifacts and discuss my strengths and areas of improvement.
The process of creating and developing a blog post to evaluate and reflect on my learning experiences effectively have genuinely helped me understand what it takes to provide an authentic learning experience that promotes student engagement and enhance their learning. I have learned how to efficiently reflect and evaluate learning experiences so I can make necessary modifications to improve teacher development and student learning. Through the reflection process, I have learned that reflection assists in enhancing and strengthen my ability to effectively model and facilitate technology-enhanced learning experiences.
Overall, the blog artifact helped me learn how to reflect more in-depth and explain in explicit detail my learning experiences and how I successfully demonstrated the necessary skills and dispositions to complete their learning tasks effectively. However, I also discussed the ways I would continue to use my knowledge and skills of what I learned in my professional practices. I learned to reflect on my disposition of the skills before completing the necessary artifacts. However, it was refreshing to reflect upon and discuss my dispositions once I finished the assignments and courses. Lastly, the Weebly blog artifact help deepen my ability to reflect on the overall course of things and how I can continue to learn and grow to improve my professional practices.
The thought that went into effectively evaluating and reflecting on my learning opportunities in my Weebly blog has helped me gain a clearer understanding of my personal beliefs and dispositions. Reflection, although it cannot be formally assessed, has had an impact on teacher development and student learning. I can adequately reflect on my learning opportunities and acknowledge areas that need improvement and ways to obtain recommendations for growth to increase teaching and learning. I will continue to evaluate consistently and reflect on my professional practices and dispositions to continue to provide meaningful and authentic learning experiences to my students.
